After 20 years of composing, arranging and performing music for a variety of projects such as theatre productions, documentaries, dance performances, concerts and albums, Itamar Gross finely follows his dream: a multi-disciplinary performance combining a solo piano, animation and installation art.
First came the music - 13 musical compositions created for the piano, recorded while performed on an upright piano in an unusual recording method, enabling the listener to feel like they are actually seated near the pianist on a cold wintery night, discovering the story as the music unfolds.
Then came the story - when best friend, writer and director Aharon Levin, listened to the music for the first time, a story emerged, linking the pieces together. It unravels the story of a lonely, outcast stagehand, living with his sickly parents, working as a follow spot operator in a megalomaniac production at the National Theatre. Everything changes one night when one of the dancers on the show becomes his heart's desire as she stumbles on stage, and he instinctively turns his follow spot at her, along with his entire being as she slowly becomes an obsession.

The album invites you to dive into another dimension, and drift away on an emotional journey.
